  • Defendant Charged With Violating Georgia’s Controlled Substances Act – Agrees to Probation and House Arrest

    A client facing charges of felony drug possession and intent to distribute in Gwinnett County was freed, after an Alford plea and given probation and several months of house arrest.  The client faced twenty (20) years in prison if convicted plus fines and special conditions of his sentence. However, the firm aggressively defended him through an initial trial and began a subsequent trial before an acceptable plea bargain was obtained.

    The client is now back to work and obtaining a sense of normalcy to his life. The client and his family were pleased with the results.
